GROUSE MOUNTAIN! It was mad climbing up... when they say "every step is an elavation" at the signboard, THEY MEAN IT. So the super fit guys had a great time going up, while I was struggling/taking my own sweet time to get up. We took about 1.5 hrs to hike up about 3km... I dont think i will ever do this again, but it was really worth it. They views are magnificant, although my pictures dont do it much justice. =) Very amazing. They had loads of exciting stuff to do up there as well. Saw a grizzly bear for the first time in my life... Saw the pretty white wolf as well. Lastly, we took the super exciting "Screaming Eagle", which was a chair lift for the slopes in winter when people start skiing. Very cool. =) Left Grouse tired, but extremely satisfied and happy =)
I'm also proud to say that the 5 of us are going to be proud Safeway members! Safeway is a huge supermarket chain here and they have branches really near the school. Being a member is FREE, and you get loads of discounts. Being the Singaporeans we are, we were more than happy to have discovered this amazing deal. No more expensive food! =) We rock. haha.
Well well, school finally starts tomorrow. It's a little apprehension and a lot of excitement on my side. We'll see how everything goes tomorrow! =)
