My last night in totem was over in a flurry of packing and panic. I guess it was over too soon. At least I had a chance to say goodbye to my room. Over the last 4 months, this was home, and sure enough it felt like my little cove away from home very quickly. Leaving such a beautiful place like Vancouver is not easy... it shouldn't be. But, I've had my share of its beauty and charm. I didn't get the chance to go back to North Van but hey, i'm not complaining (YX will say - "Stop complaining!"). We went for one last K session, one last sushi lunch, took the 98B Line to Richmond one last time... the list goes on. Like I was saying, everything seems to have come full circle. The weather is pretty much like it when we first come, rainy but not cold, my floor's all empty again just like the start of the term, the school seems so much more peaceful just like the start of the term. It actually is comforting to realise little things like that cos it makes me feel that I have spent 4 amazing months here and this is indication that it's a good time to leave. Leaving the friends i've made here is a totally different story. These are people who walked into my life and somehow left footprints all around. Regardless of how significant an impact I have made in last 4 months, you all have always been important to me. To those I'll possibly never see again in a long long time, I'm glad I met you guys cos u all made my exchange this much more exciting and enriching and for that, i thank you guys alot. For the one that i'll see again, you wont be disappointed when you visit us in May cos we'll all still be as one. I'm pretty sure of that. And for those i'll see back home, =) thank goodness! So then... this is farewell I guess. "Goodbye Vancouver, Goodbye my friends, You have been the one, You have been the one for me."
