WOAH!!!... it's been almost a week since I've been here. i'm freaking excited after learning that my parents actually subscribed to the world cup live matches thingy on cable. Apparently, they did it WAAAAAAY before starhub started their massive promos about the world cup package. I'm impressed. =) The last week was basically spent working from home and doing fieldwork since I didnt have to report to the office. In the words of others, i was slacking/nua-ing/rotting/bumming/all of the above. =) In the midst of all the hustle and bustle, i did manage to catch up with chris, pretty and sweet lay, yx & hy and dan for BADMINTON! the key point here being, we played at TAMPINES sports hall. I live in JURONG. i think that in itself warrants a medal of sorts... what to do? Group Above Self, or GAS for short. haha... it's been punctuating our msn conversations alot lately. =)

Rowing was really fun today. Every 5 mins you row gets you 5 mins of rest. By the 6th set, i think we were all dead... but we held on somehow, to finish that set. I think that's why i lurve rowing. =) No one stops till we're done, and having said that, there is nothing we can't do. =) i love.

Had a big family dinner at night to celebrate my 21st. Can't believe i'm gonna turn 21... i say "going to" cos it's not the actual day and i'm gonna deny it all the way till the 7th. haha. But the dinner was lovely. I cant even imagine why i was grumbling and not wanting a dinner in the first place. =) It did help that my parents and sis bought me a 2kg LANA cake, which is just about the most delectable chocolate sponge cake on this side of the globe. I've always said I'm a blessed girl and tonight I understood why again. =) I have an amazing family who did everything for me although i was grumbling half the time and they made sure i enjoyed myself =) I love my uncles and aunties whose main aim for the night was to get me to finish my wine, then pour me more. =) enjoy the pictures...
