women are born to yak, and yak, and yak somemore. Point proven last night when 4 ladies spent a good 4-plus hours talking about everything under the sun. I figure we'd have continued if not for the fact that 3 of us had to work today. It felt really good though. Let's do it again soon! =p

ipod dying on me... anyone wants to buy me a new one? *HINTS* muhahaha... my birthday IS coming u know =) *HINTS AGAIN* haha… fine fine… buy me new headphones! I can actually SEE the copper wires of my current headphones cos the rubber covering is slowly peeling/breaking off.
tired and a tad bored in the office cos it's 35 mins to 6pm and i'm looking forward to watching spidey with the gals later (and the mandatory bitching session after that of course). Work has been great so far. I’m not even complaining about my meager pay cos I am enjoying myself. Calling and bugging people everyday, coordinating this meeting and that proposal, making sure everything works out, and constantly trying to exceed the expectations of my bosses. It’s a good feeling to be constantly challenged. =) I like.
Shaft rowing was pure adrenalin on Sunday. Whoever thought we'd be able to finish that distance using JUST the shaft of the lousy SDBA paddle? But it was fun, though I prefer my darling grey owl anytime thankyouverymuch. =)
And… I FINALLY chose my new blogskin! Muhaha… It’ll be up really soon k =)
love love love *muacks*

you know you're getting older when dinner conversations veer towards the current job market situation, salary increases, buying property and getting married.
on one hand, it's very nice to see how everyone's coping after graduation, how some have gotten really well-paying first jobs and others have great ideas about starting their own businesses.
It is then i thank whoever it was who told me to do my honours. COS I HAVE NO FREAKING IDEA WHATSOEVER, OF WHAT I WANT TO DO AFTER SCHOOL.
Granted, i know well enough my first job wont pay that well, cos i'm so not gonna be a private banker or top shot wealth management consultant, but i dont deny i felt that bit of pressure just now knowing everyone has some direction in life. And who am i kidding if i were to say i'm not bothered by the practical side of it? MONEY TALKS. period.
So now, excuse me while i bury my head under the covers and think of what i want to do "in the future". I hope i make enough money to cover my ass and whatever responsibilities and STILL be able to find some enjoyment in whatever I'm doing. The line between doing what you love and doing it for the money is a very fine one. Let me find a job that gives me both! *grins*

2.25am the morning of my last paper, and i'm feeling damn disoriented. Don't wanna study, don't wanna read those notes and answer those past year papers even though i think the answers are staring me in the face.
sigh... my life seems to be going pretty well lately.
But it just feels like something's lacking.
maybe i need something to excite me again... get me bouncing off the walls like how i felt the first time i went salsa-ing, the first (and only) time i rowed in a race, the anticipation of a big night out and all the dolling up or the night before a big theatre performance.
yups... i think i have my answer... I'M STAGNANT!!! sigh... breathe some life into me, will you?
