of course i screwed up friday at work. and screwing up at work is like screwing up my life cos right now, work is pretty much my life. and i hate that feeling.

luckily there are these people who laugh with you even when your jokes are not funny. ie friends, to make your day unbelievably better. thank goodness for them.

what interesting people i've met this week.

i dont mean to generalize but i think a certain financial district in singapore need to put their executives and top money-makers in basic courtesy classes. saying simple things like thank you, excuse me and sorry are so foreign to these animals it disgusts me. thank goodness we're not going back there again.

on the other hand, this has been a rather happy week. work is going downhill (and the scary thing is even though i have such a cool and wonderful job, i think i'm just going through the motion and trying to get through tomorrow unscathed). i need the weekend to catch up on everything. we'll be at orchard on monday so do come round and pick up a flyer, post-it pad and car decal - we'll be giving away air tickets if we spot you on the roads!

an unexpected playground getaway made the week so much more bearable. no need for fancy food or pompous settings. it's really only the company that matters in the end :)

i'm glad i got off my ass and went back to salsa. meeting people again is somewhat unnerving so thank goodness i can still remember a teeny weeny bit of salsa from eons ago. being on the dance floor makes me happy. maybe it's time to revive that piece of wood standing guard at the corner too... tempting :)
